Denise Kelly-Bryan is the Administrator for Hughes Health and Rehabilitation.

Amy Marie Peruti, RN, BSN

Amy Marie Peruti, RN, BSN, is the Director of Nursing Services at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, Inc. Amy joined Hughes in January 2004, where she has worked on the unit level as a float nurse and a unit manager until becoming the RN supervisor for 11 years. Amy’s vast experiences and commitment to Hughes have given her the ability and foundation to deliver and oversee care with a focus on the family-oriented and caring environment that drives Hughes mission and vision statements.

Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield in 2018 after receiving an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Goodwin College in 2005. Prior to earning her RN degrees, Amy received a diploma in nursing as a licensed practical nurse from New England Technical Institute in December of 2003. Amy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration (NADONA). Amy is also a recipient of the Florence Nightingale award.

Amy is dedicated to her staff and their growth which is evident in her personal involvement in the education of nursing capabilities such as IV training and implementing diagnosis driven programs (Heart Failure and Sepsis). Amy has also committed herself to the satisfaction and quality outcomes for the residents at Hughes and their families and over the years has developed a strong rapport with many she has encountered.

Satyarani Tallapureddy, M.D.

Satyarani Tallapureddy, M.D., C.M.D., is the Medical Director at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation. Dr. Tallapureddy is a Medical Attending Physician affiliated with St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Tallapureddy has been in practice since 2004 and is certified by the American Medical Directors Association as a Certified Medical Director. Dr. Tallapureddy strives for excellence and compassionate care for her patients. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu.

Dr. Tallapureddy practices Primary Care, Women's Health, Geriatric Medicine, Hospice Care and Travel Medicine. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Care.

Dr. Tallapureddy graduated from Osmania Medical College in 1998. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 2004. We are immensely proud to have Dr. Tallapureddy serve as our Medical Director.

Krista Magura

Krista Magura is the Controller and has been with Hughes Health & Rehabilitation, Inc. since 2016. She is responsible for developing and implementing systems to operate the facility in a financially sound manor. She supervises the billing, accounting and financial reporting within the organization and oversees the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.  An industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience in the Long Term Care Industry.

Krista presently serves as a member of the Association for Long Term Care Financial Managers.

Prior to joining Hughes, Krista served as the Controller of Miller Memorial Community, Inc. in Meriden, CT.

Forest Stickney, MSW, LCSW

Forest Stickney is the Director of Social Services and has been with Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, Inc, since 2016. He has worked in the continuum of healthcare since graduation with his undergraduate degree from North Park College and Theological Seminary in 1975. He began his career at Newington Children's Hospital in various positions as a Mileau Therapist and eventually with Birth to Three Program and Orthopedics. He worked for a Home Health Agency serving the pediatric population and eventually moving into adult and geriatric home health. He obtained his Masters in Social Work from UCONN School of Social Work in 1990 and worked with The Town of Newington as a contract therapist for children and their families in the evenings. In 1993 he received his Licensed Clinical Social Work designation. Upon leaving Newington Children's Hospital, he went to Veteran's Memorial working in Cardiology and cardio step-down units as a Continuum of Care Specialist. he was contacted by as skilled nursing facility to develop their Coordinator of Transitional health service and remained with the service for 17 years. In the development of his career, He has taught at New England College in Henniker, NH, worked for a dialysis provider and launched a new company, Health Transitions, LLC and worked as a Hospice Social Worker.

Elizabeth Perugini

Elizabeth Perugini is the Admissions Director and has been with Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, Inc since 2019. Liz has worked in the skilled Nursing field and EMS for over 25 years in many various roles. Liz has over 12 years experience as an Admissions Director.

Diane Kozikowski

Diane Kozikowski is the Recreation Director at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation.

Dana Pickett

Dana Picket is the Director of Engineering and has been with Hughes Health & Rehabilitation, Inc. since 2013. To assure that Hughes Health and Rehab is the BEST provider of care in the community. We work tirelessly to meet all CMS, DPH, and Federal codes for the life safety of our residents and staff. Our engineering department is very friendly and under the leadership of Dana ensures that our resident have a comfortable and safe home environment . toward all staff, residents and family members so as to maintain the idiom of “we are all Family” here. We strive to know all of our residents by name and we try to spend a few moments with each resident as we are in their rooms addressing their needs. Many of the residents know us by name and specifically request us, going to show that we are in fact making a difference!


Sandra Dinall-Nevin, BSN, RN, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA

Sandra Dinnall-Nevin has been contributing to the promotion of excellence in healthcare since 1994 through various roles merging business and healthcare.  She has served as a medical practice manager, adult technical educator, and registered nurse in acute care and long term skilled nursing caring for pediatric, adult and elderly populations.

Her Bachelor of Arts degree was awarded Summa Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University in the field of Political Science – Public Administration and Business, with special interest in Healthcare Administration.  Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree was also awarded Summa Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut School Of Nursing where she was also inducted in the International Honor Society of Nursing.  She brings a colorful background of experiences in various industries from retail to banking, inpatient and outpatient direct nursing care to clinical and non-clinical management, as well as medical coding and data management for quality assessment and reporting, which she applies daily in promoting excellence in care.

Sandra is a Resident Assessment Coordinator - Certified Advanced, (RAC-CTA), and has been working with Hughes Health and Rehabilitation since 2013.   Among her achievements, Sandra was a recipient of the Hartford Regional Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing in 2016.  Sandra has provided leadership in assisting Hughes to remain successful in a constantly changing reimbursement field.   Under her guidance Hughes has developed a strong MDS and Case Management Department alongside dynamic data analysis and management processes that serve to keep Hughes as the place of choice for quality care. 

Ana Armour

Ana Armour is the Human Resources Manager and has been with Hughes Health & Rehabilitation since 2021.

Ana has 10 years experience in the HR field. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is certified as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Prior to joining Hughes, Ana was the Human Resources Manager at New England Urgent Care.

Michelle Lipka

Michelle Lipka, MS, RD, is the Registered Dietician at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation. With more than 20 years experience in long-term care, Michelle brings a dedicated and passionate approach to all she serves. Michelle goes above and beyond expectations to help residents live healthy lifestyles by ensuring they receive high quality, nutritional meals. Michelle works directly with residents and their families to ensure that food preferences and high quality meals are delivered in a caring, personalized environment at Hughes. Michelle has a BS degree in Nutrition from the University of Saint Joseph and a MS degree in Nutrition from the University of New Haven. Michelle's professional dedication to healthy living carries over to her personal life and includes her interest in personal fitness, including Zumba and walking. "I'm very happy to be at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation," said Michelle. "From the minute I walked through its front door, I noticed Hughes' home-like environment. I knew immediately I was working with people who cared about their residents and each other."
