Hughes Health & Rehabilitation’s Amy LaCilento Honored for Excellence in Nursing
Amy LaCilento, RN, Nursing Supervisor at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation, was recently honored as a 2015 Greater Hartford Nightingale Award Winner for Excellence in Nursing at a gala celebration at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Amy, a West Hartford resident, was recognized for her outstanding contributions to patient care and the development, training and implementation of Hughes Health’ Heart Health Program, a nationally acclaimed initiative that seeks to reduce hospital readmissions for patients with congestive heart failure.
The Greater Hartford Nightingale Awards Gala, in its 13th year, honored 100 nurses from 30 organizations throughout the area. In Connecticut, 270 out of 75,000 nurses were selected for the 2015 Nightingale Awards.
