Jeanne Cardwell Selected as Hughes Health & Rehabilitation’s 2015 Employee of the Year
Hughes Health & Rehabilitation today announced that Jeanne Cardwell, RN, has been selected as its 2015 Employee of the Year.
Jeanne has served a combined 30 years at Hughes Health, a skilled nursing facility in West Hartford. She first worked at Hughes Health from 1965-1969, then raised her family and returned to the facility in 1990.
“Jeanne cares deeply for our residents at Hughes. She is a refined and dignified co-worker – a true role model,” said Mark Finkelstein, vice president of Hughes Health & Rehabilitation. “Leave it to Jeanne to express extraordinary kindness to our residents, especially to those who do not receive many visitors. For all she has done for so long for all our family members, both residents and staff, Jeanne is richly deserving of the honor of our Employee of the Year.”
Jeanne has served in many capacities throughout her career at Hughes Health. She has worked as a Charge Nurse, Day Shift Supervisor and Medicare Nurse. Although her job classification is Medicare Nurse, she fulfills many responsibilities, not the least of which is her involvement with quality assurance.
Jeanne, a resident of Avon, is a graduate of the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing.
